Senior Wireless Digital Signal Processing Engineer
Compensation Range: Base salary range is between $130-180,000 per year with comprehensive benefits including but not limited to Medical, Dental, Vision insurance, PTO, ADD, STD/LTD, etc.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and implement DSP Algorithms for the PHY layer of 4G/5G communication systems
- Work through entire process from creating/develop concepts through product development and ending with deployment
- Develop industry leading solutions while overseeing the process from start to finish
- Use Matlab for DSP algorithm modeling and development focusing on communications systems and signals
- Conduct digital signal processing analysis and network analysis
- Act as a project manager overseeing multiple areas while staying on time and under budget
- Communicate with management, production, analysis, and sales teams internally while working with various customers on design and other business issues
Senior Wireless Digital Signal Processing Engineer
Qualifications
- 5+ years of related experience with digital signal processing for wireless applications
- Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, preferred
- Experienced in DSP Algorithm modeling and development
- Proven experience leading projects from start to finish
- Previous professional experience with Matlab
- In-depth knowledge of 4G/5G air interface
- PHY layer algorithm design and simulation
- Familiar with OFDM (Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing) systems and wireless base station architectures
- Strong understanding of software development, FPGA development, and algorithm implementation
- Previous lab experience with test equipment including, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, and power meters
- Experience with patent disclosures and filings is a plus
- Working knowledge of C/C++/Python is a plus

Additional Requirements
- Occasional domestic travel estimated at about 10% of the time
- On rare occasions, some work may need to be performed during off hours
