DSP (Direct Support Professional)

Accessible Home Services is looking for DSP (Direct Support Professionals) - Youngstown, OH to fill positions providing Direct Support services to individuals in their home.

DSP (Direct Support Professional) Job Description for DSP (Direct Support Professional) (included, but not limited to):

• Maintaining Health and Safety of the individuals in your care while maintaining their living space.
• Following the ISP (individual Service Plan) for the individuals being served.
• Assist individuals in completing personal care activities (hygiene & grooming)
• Assist with other life skills (meal preparation, housekeeping, shopping, medical/personal appointments, transportation, medication administration, etc.)
• Be a positive role-model (manners, communication, interactions, etc.)

DSP Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Physical capacity to lift a minimum of 50lbs
• Valid driver’s license
• Proof of driver’s insurance
• Must pass pre-employment background checks
• Able to work various shifts including afternoons, weekends, and/or overnight shifts
