Job Summary
To assist the staff of Disability Resources and Services (DRS) in providing services to disabled students attending GCC. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, general clerical duties, answering phones, taking messages, scheduling appointments, providing general information, note-taking, arranging equipment, proctoring alternative tests, and other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions
40% Addresses questions to a diverse population of faculty, students, staff members, and general public
40% Proctor, scribe, and read tests, quizzes, exams, labs in testing environment
15% Assist students with equipment and assistive technology
5% Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
General office/receptionist experience. Experience in using software such as Microsoft Office products and the internet. Good communication skills. Experience handling confidential information in an office setting. Experience in working in an educational setting preferred.
