SalaryPosition Summary:
Set up/delivers home medical equipment and instructs patients/caregivers in its use and care as well as maintains regular deliveries of supplies to MSD patients. Assists in cleaning, maintaining, repairing, and testing of rental equipment after patient use.
Education, License & Cert:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- DOT medical exam required.
Experience:
- Current valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in customer service setting.
- Ability to drive a delivery truck.
- Familiarity with geographical area preferred.
- Ability to demonstrate minor mechanical maintenance and repairs preferred.
Essential Functions:
- Delivers and picks up equipment and supplies for customers.
- Instructs customers/caregivers in the use and care of equipment.
- Inspects vehicle daily according to DOT guidelines, and maintains in safe operating condition.
- Complies with state and local traffic regulations.
- Assists in maintaining ongoing roster of customers requiring liquid oxygen reservoirs fills as well as other oxygen related deliveries.
- Assists in maintaining warehouse and clean room in neat and orderly fashion.
- Assists in cleaning and disinfecting equipment after customer use.
- Performs assembly, testing, and minor repairs to equipment as per established guidelines.
Other Duties:
- Takes emergency call as per on call policy.
- Assists in maintaining proper inventory stock.
- Assists with bi‐annual store inventory.
- Participates in Performance Improvement Program by:
- Identifying areas in which Performance Improvement can be applied
- Participating on Performance Improvement Teams 5. Performs other duties as assigned.
Pay rate ranges from $17.06 - 26.61 per hour.
