Drilling Helper

SUMMARY

Driller helpers assist the drillers in operating a drilling rig.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following: Other duties may be assigned. Regular attendance is an essential function of this job.

• Assist driller operators
• Assist in obtaining geotechnical samples.
• Commute to drill rigs.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School is highly preferred. Must have Class A CDL and a clean driving record. Must be able to clear background.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, write, and clearly communicate in English. Ability to fill out forms, write reports, and clearly communicate with crew members, clients, and supervisor.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures. Ability to apply concepts of algebra. Must have good overall math skills.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Class A CDL.
