Drafter CAD Operator

Job Description:

Using AutoCAD and an in-house parts database system:

Prepare 2D drawings defining mechanical and electromechanical parts and assemblies.

Prepare 2D assembly drawings to be used in product manufacturing.

Prepare parts lists for above.

Through verbal and/or email communication with Engineering and/or Production personnel, make revisions to CAD drawings & parts lists using revision control methods.

Implement Engineering Change Orders on existing drawings & other documents.

Provide support to Engineering Department as required

Requirements:

Must be familiar with CAD/Computer Aided Drafting techniques.  Training and/or experience in AUTOCAD a plus.

Must be somewhat familiar with electromechanical drafting basics, techniques and standards.

Basic experience with Microsoft Word or other word processing software a plus.

Any education or experience related to printed wiring boards and/or pwb layout would be an advantage, but not a requirement for hire.
