Downstream Operator 2Nd And 3Rd Shifts

Responsibilities
•The Downstream Operator is the entry level position in our Extrusion department
•As a Downstream Operator, you will utilize standard tools and measuring devices to ensure that the final product meets customer specifications and to catch any basic abnormalities
•Mainly responsible for making sure the final product is being wrapped around the reel in a even and neat manner while maintaining a check on the quality of the product
•You will collaborate with other production workers to ensure that the orders are properly wound onto reels for shipment to customers, assist line start-ups and reel changes, place the correct reel onto the reeler and prepare for start-up, operate the reeler (manual and auto mode), grind line scrap as it is produced and stack scrap

2nd shift hours are M-F, 3pm-11:15pm
3rd shift hours are Sun-Th, 11pm-7:15am
You will train on 1st shift for 2-3 weeks
