What You’ll Do
The Fleet Manager is responsible for planning, directing, managing, coordinating and supervising the programs for acquisition, assignment, utilization, maintenance, repair, replacement and disposal of fleet vehicles. Fleet manager also serves as the primary contact concerning the vehicle fleet and operations.
- Bilingual specifically Chinese. (REQUIREMENT)
- Manage fleet of 20 to 30 vehicles to include tractors, trailers, straight trucks and small box trucks.
- Maintain repair log, update mileage logs for state reporting, track accidents/injuries and strong DOT knowledge.
- Setting fleet management KPIs surrounding safety and driver behavior allows you to ensure your vehicles, your drivers and the public at large are safe on the roadways.
- Managing E Logs and tracking violations to mitigate future violations.
- Experience in MS/Office and ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
- 2 years of experience in managing a Trailor Tractor fleet maintenance and repair.
- Prior experience as a mechanic with an emphasis on trailer repair along with routine maintenance experience.
- Previous experience managing E Logs and tracking violations to mitigate future violations
- Ability to change tires on large and small trailers and trucks.
- Skilled in diagnosis and repair of electrical systems, light bulbs, and boxed units on all equipment.
- Must be able to provide your own tools necessary to perform all maintenance repair and diagnostics (major diagnostic equipment and tools will be provided by Empire).
- Must have expert knowledge of all DOT (FMCSA) regulations.
- Must have moderate knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.
Working Conditions
- Frequently works outdoors.
- The employee is frequently required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend or crawl.
- The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and frequently lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

- Tucker, GA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
