Pay Rate- $13.50 per hour
POSITION PURPOSE
Under the direct supervision of store management the Donation Attendant is responsible for greeting and assisting donors, breakdown of donations, keeping accurate donor records and providing donors excellent customer service. The Donation Attendant is also responsible to participate in all sales floor store activities and maintain a professional manner to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and confidence. In addition to providing maximum security and protection of company assets.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
1. Follow safety policies and procedures ensuring maximum safety, security and protection of all donors and company assets.
2. Greet all donors in a prompt, friendly and courteous manner and assist with unloading donations from vehicles.
3. Offer all donors a donation receipt and ensure accurate count of all donors for the location are logged/recorded.
4. Ensure all donations are broken down into categories assigned by supervision.
5. Ensure drive through donation area is clean and organized and transport all trash to dumpster.
6. Ensure donations are loaded and/or unloaded from trucks.
7. Follow company policy and procedures according to Goodwills Team Member Handbook and all applicable SOPs for the job position.
8. Accomplish retail and organization mission goals by completing related assignments as needed.
9. Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
10. All other duties as assigned by management.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred, along with a minimum of 1-3 months of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have the ability to use a pallet jack and possess good interpersonal and communication skills.

FINGER DEXTERITY: The ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands and wrists.
TALKING: Talking to others to convey information effectively and to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.
AVERAGE VISUAL ABILIITES: The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer). Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color, vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
