As a Commercial Development Manager , you will grow Domestic third-party Logistics services by securing new profitable and sustainable customers. You will generate revenue and drive new business by managing sales meetings, presenting recommendations for supply chain improvements, and closing sales. - Prospecting, planning, and conducting face-to-face visits with new prospective customers
- Partnering with customers to gather information on their needs and offer tailored solutions within the Ingram Logistics suite of services
- Ensuring alignment with corporate strategies in forecasting, business planning, and pipeline development
- Tracking and reporting Pipeline health and maintenance utilizing CRM and or Pipeline reports
- Leading cross functional collaboration with Air and Trucking teams to develop tailored solutions for customers
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- A minimum of 3-5 years commercial experience with third-party logistics providers.
- Advanced knowledge of logistical concepts and supply chain terminology.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively with strong attention to detail.
- Strong ability to persuade, motivate, and influence others.
- Develop and maintain strong inter-company relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
