Dog Hotel And Daycare Attendant

Overview of Job Title: We are looking for an experienced dog handler. This person MUST love dogs and be able to command a group of varying breeds, sizes and temperaments as well as clean and do paperwork. Because we are here 24/7, 365 days a year, we ask that you are prepared to work on holidays as well, since we still do need someone to watch the dogs who are here for their holiday vacations

Responsibilities of Daycare/Boarding Attendant:

• Booking/taking calls for reservations, tours, and temperament tests and overall customer service
• Detailed cleaning of cabins, dog runs, outdoor yard sanitation
• Watch over and entertain the daycare and hotel guests in a safe and effective way
• Interacting with clients on the phone and in person

Mandatory qualifications of Daycare/Boarding Attendant:

• 1 year kennel experience strongly preferred, but willing to train if you have other professional experience in the animal industry. We do not consider owning and taking care of your own dogs/dog walking professional experience for this job.

• Can handle breeds of any size/temperament
• Can stay on feet for prolonged periods of time while overseeing groups
• Caring and considerate towards our furry guests

• Able to work effectively in a team environment
• Flexible scheduling as needed strongly preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 – 24 per week
