Dog Daycare Care Attendant 1

• Position: OFF Fri & Saturday Off.
• Sun 7:30am-1:30pm, Mon 4pm-9pm, Tues 4pm-9pm, Wed 7:30am-1:30pm, Thurs 4pm-9pm
• 30+ Hours Weekly
• Know how to use Social Media & Proficient computer skills
• Working Solely by yourself at times
• This is part-time 28+ or more hours a week.
• We would like people with animal experience or those who have work in the health care services and understand the meaning of taking care of living things. This is a great job but at times involves cleaning after and monitoring animals health and can get messy.

Job Summary

Our company is seeking a reliable Dog Day Care Manager. A team player that can provide excellent care to dogs staying at our facility. Our ideal candidate is someone who loves animals and can provide high-quality pet care for our customers while their dogs lodge with us. We expect you to provide a fun, safe, and clean environment for dogs and put customers at ease, assuring them that their pets will be safe. You will also inform customers of the various grooming and training services we provide. Prior experience in animal care or kennel management is a must.

Responsibilities

· Give dogs food and water throughout the day

· Clean and maintain kennels, keeping them free of waste, fur/hair, and other unsanitary or hazardous materials

· Supervise play areas to ensure pet safety

· Keep records of feeding and walking schedules for each dog

· Dedicate time to train dogs (as requested by owner)

· Receptionist duties, such as answering phones and emails

Posting pictures of dogs on Facebook and Instagram

Ability to manage staff of 3 to 4 individuals.

Strong attention to detail in evaluating the completion of various phases of a project.

Analytical skills to monitor progress of an undertaking and identify areas needing adjustment or improvement

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills essential

Arrange and schedules tours of new clients.

Aiding Groomer in lite task (such as holding a dog while they clip their nails)

Placing dogs to proper rooms according to needs

Scheduling dogs for daycare and boarding

Dog Day Care Attendant Requirements and Qualifications

· High school diploma or GED certificate

· At least 18 years old

· Prior experience at a Dog Daycare facility, shelter, or in personal animal care

· Familiarity with various dog breeds

· Passion for taking care of animals

· Teamwork and communication skills

· Physical stamina for cleaning and maintaining rooms
