Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking a talented Document Control Specialist for immediate employment in the Honolulu/Kapolei area. Working at AECOM means being part of a global team, collaborating with award-winning professionals across the world. Aspire to be a key player on some of the best projects regionally, with opportunities to work on projects nationally or internationally. This role is set up to be on-site 5 days a week.
Archaeology Research and Database Technical Assistant
Conduct library and database searches
Review incoming submittals for completeness; and request missing documents and review fees;
Review and update incomplete or inaccurate databased information
Scan and upload documents
Assist in conducting library research of archaeological reports for information missing from database and or GIS. Prepare research findings for review by archaeologists and GIS Specialists.
Locate and organize archaeological preservation plans into an electronic database and determine if preservation plans are being complied with. This may include contacting firms to located missing plans and participating in site visits to verify compliance.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS - 4 year degree from accredited university or demonstrated equivalancy of experience and/or education
4 years of Exp. working in administrative, support position
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree with focus on GIS, or archeology, or architecture
Research, reading reports, and providing analsys
GIS knowledge, basic skills
MS Office advanced skills
Database Administration or familiarity
Great organization skills
Ability to multitask
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Interest in Archeology, historical preservation, historical architecture
Additional Information
Compensation:
Offered rate of compensation in Honolulu, HI will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $50,000. - $70,000.
