Document Control Specialist

Job Overview:
Henderson Fab is seeking a Document Control Specialist with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn and grow their career. We are a steel fabrication shop located in Loganville, GA. Having opened in March of 2020, we have successfully established a culture where we strive to develop, train up, and promote our employees from within. We are looking for an individual who will continue with that same mentality as Henderson Fab expands.

This role is a great opportunity for someone looking to learn and grow within the steel industry. The ideal candidate must have good communication skills, the ability to multi-task, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Handles the coordination, distribution and organization of project drawings and documents
- Assist with bid documents including request pricing from sub-contractors
- Setup new projects upon award in MRP software
- Maintain and update contract drawings on server
- Manage documents and distribute as needed (approvals, back from approvals, field use, design changes, etc)
- Print and distribute drawings/documents as needed for Estimating, Project Management, Shop, and Field Use
- Import submittal packages, maintain master drawing folder, send submittals as required
- Assist with other document and administrative duties as needed

Skills/Qualifications:
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with records management practices and regulations
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self Driven and Motivated
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple project in a fast-paced environment
