We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role. Tow truck dispatchers take calls for service, relay the requests to drivers, and monitor the progress of the tow. Using computer-aided dispatch systems, they keep records and prepare detailed reports of all calls and all communications with towing services.
```Duties```
- Receiving calls from drivers in need of towing services
- Connecting drivers with resources
- Documenting conversations
- Advising drivers on safe routes to take or actions to perform
- Assessing the safety of roadside situations
- Ensuring drivers receive timely and accurate dispatch
- Explaining processes and procedures to drivers over the phone
- Relaying important information about towing situations to tow truck driver or service stations
```Qualifications```
- Previous experience in dispatching is preferred
- Familiarity with towing and recovery is helpful
- Knowledge of vehicles is helpful
- Proficiency in using phone systems and computer software
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations
