Schedule: 36/48HR Rotating Shift (Both 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am shifts available)

Job Description/Responsibilities
All employees of The Green River Distilling Company must have the following characteristics:

• Appreciate and provide excellent customer service
• Comfortable interacting daily with distillery customers as well as tour groups and guests in a hospitality focused environment
• Excellent team player

This position requires the following:

• Assist Distillery Operators or Maintenance Technicians as needed
• Distillery and Facility Cleaning (Tanks, grating, floor, pipes, etc.)
• Collect, analyze, and record beer chemistry samples
• Set, drop, and sanitize fermenters
• Perform general Work Orders when assigned
• Outside Granary cleaning (Silos, mill, ph tanks, thin slop pavilion, chem hut, ground, etc.)
• Fermenter House Cleaning (wall vents, tanks, grating, walls, pipes, floor, etc.)
• Maintain Thick Slop containment, pits, tanks, and loadout areas
• CIP makeup (prepare chemicals for cleaning of equipment)
• Cleaning of Cooker area (Cookers, trench drains, pipes, cooker vents, etc.)
• Cleaning of Still tower area (bottom floor, doublers, LW/HW tanks, window seals, etc.)
• Stocking and organizing of Distillery Raw Materials and Operation Supplies
• Pressure Washing
• Operating equipment (Fork-lift, Scissor-lift, etc.)
• Painting
• Window washing
• Snow/Ice removal around outside work areas
• Errands/Pick-ups/Deliveries
• Work in hot and cold temperatures
• Responsibilities also include, but not limited to, outside duties
• Commitment for the Company’s ISO program including the quality and food safety of our products
• Wants to grow with company to become Operator or Maintenance Technician
• Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications/Requirements

• General maintenance background, attending a maintenance degree program, or manufacturing experience
• Self-Motivated
• Have a high school diploma or GED
• Have experience in team-based manufacturing environment
• Take direction from supervisor
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills
• Be accurate and consistent in performing duties
• Have basic computer skills

Physical requirements

• Must be able to stand; use hands to fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; walk; sit; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and occasionally required to climb or balance.
• Must be able to work in high temperature environment with exposure to fluctuating temperatures indoors and outdoors.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis from floor to shoulder.
• Must be able to physically navigate around a plant/production environment, including the repetitive climbing of stairs and elevated walkways.
• Must not be afraid of working heights and be able to ascend and descend ladders and in aerial lifts, as appropriate.
