G2 Secure Staff is expanding and looking to add to the Dispatcher Operations in Louisville International Airport (SDF)
Title: Dispatcher
Pay Rate: $17.00
Shift: AM/ PM
Job Type: Hourly
The Dispatcher coordinates communications with the team and management and updates/notifications between the Client and employees. Ensures all data is recorded according to company procedures.
.What does a Dispatcher do?
· Must be familiar with and abide by all Client/company regulations
· Work with Client Special Services Representatives to meet all service requests
· Pull assignments or work orders from the computer as needed
· Do all reports accurately and promptly
· Must know all FAA/ TSA/Airline/Company regulation
· Keep supervisor informed of needs and problems in assigned areas, maintain cleanliness of immediate work area, and report maintenance needs
· Escalate issues to the Operations Manager Immediately
· Deal courteously and tactfully with fellow employees and passengers if necessary
· Communicate effectively with fellow employees
· Maintain all service transactions
· Create and generate service performance reports in the tracking program software or via manual performance logs
· Receive and respond to telephone and radio calls from Client representatives and employees professionally and promptly
· Maintain and distribute radios (where applicable).
· Miscellaneous duties as assigned
What skills are required to Join the Team?
- Must be 18 years or older
- HS Diploma or GED required
- One year of customer service experience
- Must submit to and pass a drug screen and background check
- Must meet all requirements to obtain an airport SIDA badge and Customs Seal (if applicable), including successfully completing a background check and ten-year work history.
- Must have a reliable mode of communication and transportation
If you have these additional skills, it’s a bonus!
- Previous airport and customer service experience preferred.
- Previous radio/phone dispatch experience desirable.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Language Skills:
· Ability to communicate effectively in the English language
· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals, and employee handbooks
· Ability to effectively present information, including in written form, and respond to questions from passengers, managers, clients, customers, and the public
· Must also possess and utilize effective listening skills
