Dispatcher

Waltco, Inc is looking for strong candidates to fill Full Time Dispatcher/Driver to assist drivers with success at our Wausau, WI location. This position would be 5:00am to 1:00pm Monday through Friday. This positions can be physical, fast-paced and may involve continual lifting, lowering and carrying packages. Understand the Dispatching process including attention to detail and accuracy when dispatching to avoid errors in pick-ups and deliveries.

Successful Dispatchers possess the following traits:

• Regular Driver's license with a good driving record (no more than 1 violations in 3 years)
• Ability to lift and carry packages of various shapes, sizes, and weight.
• Strong work ethic.
• Ability to use a computer fluently and a smart phone.
• Customer service focus.
• Self-motivated, driven.
• Positive attitude
• Understanding of a Map and routing
• Sense of urgency
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to follow directions given by the Terminal Manager
• Must be able to read labels, verify numbers and have excellent communication skills. Able to lift 70 lbs repeatedly, stack, and maneuver objects, to bend, stand, walk, and climb within the workday when on the dock or driving if needed.
• Prior Dispatching experience in Transportation is a plus
• Must be at least 21 yrs of age.
