STAAR Trucking is looking to add two Dispatch Coordinators to our team! We operate a fleet of 45 trucks over three different divisions. We have several dedicated customers as well as brokerages and load boards that we work off of.
Requirements:
- Transportation, supply chain or logistics experience
- Advanced technical/computer skills with the ability to use several programs simultaneously
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong work ethic with a professional, positive attitude
- Creative problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills with minimal supervision
- Ability to prioritize workload and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; must be a team player and demonstrate the ability to coordinate with multiple associates
- Experience helpful with: Microsoft Office, 123Loadboard, DAT Loadboard, Direct Customer Tender, TMX System, Drive Axle, Samsara.
- Regards safety as the number one priority
- Must be able to follow instructions and work with little to no supervision
- Can pass a DOT drug and alcohol test
- Must be a team player
- Must be reliable
- Can work evenings and weekends when necessary
- Is professional when interacting with drivers, customers, and other team members
