Duties:
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and slicing ingredients
- Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines
- Prepare and cook food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
- Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, and ovens
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area
- Store food products in designated containers and storage areas
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow
Skills:
- Previous experience in food service or food handling is preferred
- Basic cooking skills and knowledge of culinary techniques
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely food preparation
- Knowledge of proper food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
