We are seeking a Food Preparation Worker to join our team. As a Food Preparation Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates efficiently and that our customers receive high-quality food. Duties:
- Assist with food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and marinating meats
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistent quality
- Help with banquet and catering events by setting up food stations and assisting with serving
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth operations during peak hours
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Assist the cook or chef as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant, catering, or kitchen environment is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic food handling and preparation techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
