Dishwasher - Bakery Kitchen Cleaner

Come join us in our new gourmet donut and bakery in Camas! We are not a chain or multiple location company, this location is the first and only one! If you have been looking for a place that will provide a personal and varied work environment in a main street style shop, this is your chance!

We are looking for positive and motivated applicants to take charge of our Bakery Kitchen! The main daily tasks are cleaning up the accessories used for the days production, cleaning up the trays and speed racks as well as any proof boxes, cleaning the mixer, and taking out the trash. On a continuous basis we are looking for someone who can take charge of the condition of the kitchen. By this we mean to review and address any issues that need attention each day. Things like sweeping and mopping as necessary, cleaning up any kitchen appliances that need attention such as an oven, mixer or other equipment. Pulling out tables or appliances as needed to clean the surfaces around them. In summary, be responsible and take initiative in an independent fashion to ensure the kitchen is in good shape!

We are looking for someone who can come in 5 days a week, Wednesday through Sunday. We are flexible on the hours, start time can be from late morning all the way through later in the afternoon. Average day will be around 4 hours, with occasional special days that may go longer. The kitchen will be shut down during the shift, so you don't have to worry about working around an active kitchen. You will have the space to yourself so you can work as you see fit and play music of your choice! Our lead baker is very clean and detail oriented so the condition at the end of the day is very reasonable.

Not required, but ideally would like to also have some basic prep work experience (basic chopping, mixing, measuring) as well as comfort level working behind the counter (POS and customer service). This would be for extra help or emergency situations, we are a small shop so flexibility in skills is very helpful!
