About the Role:
- Develop and execute on the evidence-generation strategy focused on real-world data to support the value of the company's products with US customers, including government and commercial payers, PBMs, employers, and public and private health systems.
- In conjunction with internal colleagues (market access, marketing, medical affairs) disseminate data to help communicate the value proposition/story for the company's products. Conduct a full evaluation of all available clinical trial data, real-world evidence, health economic data, and other information to understand the competitive landscape and develop a strategic and tactical plan for the company's lead product, XEN1101, as well as future products as the pipeline matures.
- Collaborate with the Clinical Development and Medical Affairs organizations to understand the data and information available in clinical trials, including completed and planned trials.
- Provide input into clinical trial protocol development where appropriate (Phase II, Phase III, and post-marketing trials).
- Determine critical opportunities and gaps in evidence generation.
- Develop key value messages and clearly articulate the products' value stories internally.
- Collaborate with medical affairs on the development of peer-reviewed publications.
- Lead real-world evidence generation projects (retrospective and prospective), including publication, with external partners.
- Lead the development of economic modeling for external payers (and other customers).
- Build and manage the value and access team as the organization prepares for launch.
- Develop and propose short- and long-term objectives for the function in accordance with overall Company strategies and plans.
- Plan and manage budget proposals and approved budgets in accordance with the Company's strategic and operating plans and Finance policies.
- Recruit, lead, direct, develop, coach and evaluate direct reports, if any, in accordance with the Company's Human Resource policies and practices.
- Act in accordance with Company policies, including, for example, the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and ensure policies are understood and followed by direct reports, if any.
- Some international travel may be required.

- Bachelor's degree.
- Advanced degree (PhD or Masters) or training in epidemiology, public health, HEOR, biostatistics or related field preferred.
- 10+years industry experience, with preference for experience in market access and/or value and evidence generation.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with a variety of real-world data sources and observational research study design/execution in biotech/pharmaceuticals, consulting or academia.
- Launch experience preferred.
- Travel as needed.

- Able to work independently under tight timelines and be willing to contribute significantly to day-to-day operations as needed.
