Director, User Centrics Design and UX
Locations: United States/Ireland/Costa Rica/Bulgaria
The Senior Manager of User Centric Design and UX will be leading the design in creating engaging and compelling designs that provide a seamless experience for our users. The role will work closely with Financial Services stakeholders to understand user needs in terms of experience and user design. Collaboration with business owners, SMEs, and technical team members is critical. The ability to translate across the functional/technical divide is a required skill to be successful in this role.
What You Will Do For Us:
  • Develop and implement user-centric design strategies that align with our business goals.
  • Oversee all design projects from conception to delivery by coordinating with multi-disciplinary project teams, including Data Engineering, Technology, Marketing, Product Management, and others.
  • Resolve user experience challenges while considering technical constraints by utilizing UX design best practices.
  • Develop interactive prototypes and mock-ups to effectively communicate design ideas and functionality to the development team.
  • Lead and execute user testing and research initiatives to help optimize the user interface and experience.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to understand their needs, issues, and objectives regarding user interface and experience.
  • Constantly review and improve the user interface for usability and improved user experience.
  • Conduct competitor and customer analysis to ensure our user experience stands out.

Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in UX Design, HCI, Graphic Design or a related field.
  • 8 years of experience in designing complex solutions for complete digital environments with a strong portfolio demonstrating past work experience.
  • Proficiency in design software like Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, and other relevant tools.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills. Experience conducting user research and implementing those findings into design strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a creative and analytical mindset.
