The Network and Edge group (NEX) at Intel drives the software-defined transformation of the world's infrastructure - in data centers, in networks, and at the edge. The NEX Chief Strategy Office is chartered with both identifying the forces shaping the future and the strategic inflections points they are creating, as well as defining NEX's response to those. We translate strategic questions into distinct initiatives that deliver growth through actionable strategies.
As a Strategy Associate in the Network and Edge group you will:
- Help us define the future of NEX. You will work with subject matter experts to evaluate different strategic options, assess trade-offs, and develop winning strategies that accelerate growth.
- Think big and be creative. We solve complex and ambiguous problems. In this role, you will guide strategic opportunities, both organic and inorganic, by conducting thorough market and financial analyses. This includes assessing the market, competitor analysis, identifying roadmap gaps, creating business cases, analyzing synergies, modeling 'build vs. buy' scenarios, and calculating ROI, among others.
- Be a thought-partner. We work closely with NEX business unit leaders as one team, delivering insights that guide product offering and strategic investments. We also work with multiple internal and external stakeholders which will require building great relationships to effectively gather subject matter expert input, align leadership teams, and drive actions.
The Strategy Associate should possess the attributes below:
- Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to formulate and deliver insights around complex business problems in a thoughtful and persuasive manner.
- Demonstrated capability to thrive and continuously learn in a dynamic, innovative setting, showcasing a growth mindset, quick adaptability, and a strong commitment to efficient execution.
- Exceptionally strong personal initiative, good business instincts, and comfort with ambiguity.
- Demonstrated thought leadership and cross-group collaboration skills.
- A team player willing to jump in where needed as an active contributor.
Qualifications
What we need to see (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Science or Engineering and 6 years of overall experience OR Master's or MBA degree and 4 years of overall experience.
- 4 years of industry experience in strategy, product strategy, product management, corporate development, finance, management consulting, investment banking or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years’ experience in a leadership role overseeing software and/or semiconductor technology markets, trends, and dynamics.
How to Stand out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in and navigating a large corporation (Fortune 500).
- Experience working with and demonstrating leadership in a highly matrixed team.
- Knowledge of network and edge market, including software and hardware technology trends and business models.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $162,600.00-$284,620.00
- Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.

This role is a Position of Trust.
