Within the Technology Portfolio Management team, the Portfolio Management Transformation Director will lead a team responsible for driving our transformation forward optimizing and defining processes and tools supporting the technology investment for the enterprise and optimizing our forecast and cost model. This pivotal role will be responsible for defining and implementing changes to the existing model and defining the future state, leading us towards a consistent and efficient operating model to drive transparent and effective investment decisions while bring the enterprise along through in depth change management.

As a leader of a high-performing technology portfolio organization, this candidate will have a business-oriented and data-driven mindset, passion for process and tooling innovation, and possess the ability to partner with others at multiple levels to drive changes to key business processes. This role will require strong change management and effective communication to evolve the way we manage our investment.

This is a hybrid role based in New York or Phoenix; Hybrid colleagues work a mix of in-office and virtual days, coming into the office 3 days per week. Leaders and colleagues will plan common days for in-person connection, collaboration, and events.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage enterprise-wide design and governance of portfolio management practices focused on driving continuous optimization of processes, tools and insights to effectively manage the technology investment enabling continuous transparency into forecast and actuals.
  • Define and support multi-year roadmap to enable end to end capabilities to achieve outcomes.
  • Manage change management at scale across the enterprise, creating playbooks, trainings and creative ways to drive adoption at scale.
  • Define requirements and prioritize backlog to enable tools that will drive greater insights into our technology investment.
  • Establish and champion a consistent taxonomy, reporting and metrics with Portfolio, Engineering, and Product leaders to enable data integrity, increase adoption and drive decisions.
  • Build an effective change management and feedback approach with Technology, Business, Product, and Finance partners to identify and action continual improvement opportunities.
  • Lead and build high performing team, inspiring employee engagement, retention, progression, and performance management in a fast-paced environment.

Who you are:

  • An excellent communicator with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire others to work towards shared outcomes.
  • Intellectually curious and data-driven – Ability to proactively ask questions and design a data model to answer them; prior experience in financial scenario modeling, data analytics and executive summarization to avert risk and drive actions
  • Continual Improvement and Innovation – Passion for continual improvement, process design, and automation; seeks new ways to improve effectiveness, quality, and compliance
  • Stakeholder Management – Confident and clear communication and relationship building skills, to influence without authority
  • Automation and PPM / Agile Lifecycle Tools - Well-versed in the processes and tools that drive Technology portfolio and financial management such as Rally, Jira, Clarity, Apptio, Oracle, and Ariba.
  • Results Oriented – Track record of driving results across multiple channels and initiatives in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Familiar with Agile and SAFe methodologies; empathetic to Agile team needs.
  • 5+ years of experience in Technology portfolio management, leading, developing, and mentoring high performing teams

Salary Range: $145,000.00 to $230,000.00 annually + bonus + equity (if applicable) + benefits
