Description
Location: Columbia, SC (Onsite)
- Develops and implements sales strategies and sales plans/programs to drive sales growth and achieve sales and/or retention goals for assigned products and/or territories. Responsible for generating sufficient sales to cover cost of operations and provide profitable growth to the division.
- Develops and manages sales channels to include but not limited to Agency Sales, Telemarketing, Internet, and Direct Sales.
- Directs and maintains superior service and responsiveness to key accounts/distribution channel. Builds and maintains strong, long-lasting customer relationships for the corporation.
- Evaluates sales plan/program efficiency and recommends changes as well as marketing programs and/or business development plans. Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas.
- Responsible for budgeting, planning, and hiring necessary staff for assigned product lines.
- Responsible for sales training to keep staff current on continuing education requirements as well as sales presentation and negotiating skills.
Required Education:
- Bachelor's
Required Work Experience:
- 10+ years sales and marketing experience to include three years Senior Markets experience. 5 years management experience OR equivalent military experience in grade E4 or above. (may be concurrent)
