Position Summary:
Oversee the safety, building, and grounds functions of the organization. Design, implement, and monitor safety, environmental, health, and safety programs for all business units. This includes ensuring all buildings and grounds are safe, clean, and fully operational to protect the safety of our employees, products, and visitors. Includes all directly owned and leased facility responsibility, as required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Lead safety function to ensure compliance with all safety polies, industry regulations, requirements, and reporting
· Develop, maintain, and execute effective safety training procedures, policies, and best practices to reduce the risk of injury in the workplace
· Develop and lead team
· Partner with related functions to ensure a SQF Food Safe culture and environment.
· Make recommendations on facility improvement and upkeep for efficiency.
· Conduct inspections and act as company representative to interested external parties.
· Develop and administer the company-wide Buildings & Grounds comprehensive maintenance plan for major systems of the facilities (HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, grounds, electrical, nitrogen, ammonia, refrigeration, structural, garbage compactors)
· Read schematics and blue-prints to understand most effective and efficient approach to building and ground maintenance
· Manage all snow removal services and oversee inclement weather planning
· Manage janitorial services, office space allocation, vending, and office supplies
· Maintain an open line of communication to executive leadership team and all employees as applicable
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in administration, engineering, or equivalent
· Minimum 10 years in safety facilities management; with manufacturing experience a plus.
· Strong project management and organizational skills.
· Multitasking ability.
· Excellent written and verbal communication.
· Exceptional interpersonal skills.
· Ability to manage time efficiently.
Physical Environment:
Normal office environment but will be out in the plant often. The plant environment will include wet or humid conditions (non-weather related), extreme cold and heat (non-weather related), working near moving mechanical parts, exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and chemicals—including allergen ingredients such as nuts and eggs.

Pay: $115,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
