Summary:
CCS Group is looking for a Safety and Quality Assurance Manager to establish, monitor, and enforce company Safety and Quality Assurance standards.

Responsibilities Include:
- Support and uphold a culture built on safety while maintaining a standard of excellence on all projects
- Create site specific safety plans for all jobs
- Investigates all accidents, incidents, and near misses immediately upon notification
- Reach out to the local safety, fire and rescue teams for all new jobs to communicate safety requirements prior to construction
- Effectively lead safety orientation and trainings to ensure employees learn and retain all necessary safety requirements
- Organize the annual safety summit, focused on operational success and compliance
- Conduct routine site visits to inspect and audit potential or existing hazards – work with executive staff to create a plan of action as needed
- Collaborate with necessary safety team for any initial concerns and continue to understand local safety procedures – adjust site specific safety plan as needed
- Analyzes, reviews, and approves policies, processes, documentation, and reports to improve Safety and Quality standards
- Effectively communicate all Safety and Quality updates throughout the company
- Manages PPE min/max inventory system and provides supplies to superintendents as requested.
- Facilitates all drug and alcohol screenings for CCS Group
- Research and recommend necessary safety tools and equipment in order to enhance the quality of work being produced
- Establish and enforce a company Safety Committee
- Any additional duties assigned by Operations Director
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or one to two years experience in training and development
- Valid Drivers license
- OSHA 10, OSHA 30, and OSHA 500 completed or willing to obtain
- Familiar with safety documentation and rules relating to OSHA and MSHA regulation
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Strong attention to detail and organization required
- Ability to travel 75% of the time is required
- Problem solving
- Proficient in Microsoft office, safety-specific software, construction-related programs
Physical Demands :
This position requires inspection of sites to detect safety concerns, must be able to complete tasks in a noisy environment, move equipment up to 125lbs., position oneself to install equipment, must be able to remain in a stationary position during shift

Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
