Job Overview

As the Director of Installation Project Management at Creative Realities, Inc., you will serve as the Head of the Project Management Organization. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and lead a team dedicated to the successful coordination and execution of all phases of digital signage installation projects. You will be entrusted with establishing and refining the processes and procedures that enable our team to deliver exceptional results that meet or exceed customer expectations. This role requires a deep understanding of Project Management, AV Installation, logistics planning, strong communication skills, and a keen eye for detail to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with contract specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Strategy - Provide visionary leadership to the Installation Projects team, setting strategic goals and objectives aligned with the company's overall mission. Develop and maintain effective processes and procedures for Project Management, continuously improving efficiency and quality.
  • Lead the team in creating comprehensive project plans that outline project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Ensure effective resource allocation, including staffing and budget management, to meet project goals and maximize profitability.
  • Oversee the coordination of all project phases, from initiation to completion, ensuring that project milestones are met.
  • Act as a key point of contact between the Installation Projects team and the Engineered Solutions team, facilitating clear communication on project requirements, budgets, and scheduling.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance collaboration and drive successful project outcomes.
  • Ensure strict adherence to contract specifications and industry standards, maintaining a high level of quality control throughout project lifecycles.
  • Implement quality assurance processes to identify and address issues proactively, minimizing project risks and delays.
  • Prepare and deliver regular project status reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommended actions.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project plans.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of project managers and coordinators, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and innovation within the Installation Projects team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related technical field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.
  • AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) or Certified Technology Specialist - Installations (CTS-I) preferred.
  • Proven track record of at least 10 years in Project Management, with a focus on installation projects.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Project Management software and tools.
  • Adept at financial management, including budget creation and cost control.
  • Knowledge of digital signage technology and installation processes is a plus.
