What part will you play?
The Director, Project Management, is responsible for providing leadership and end to end governance and standardization for all initiatives within an assigned team of 5 to 15 direct reports depending on workload of team and client base. This role is accountable for all project finances, PM quality, and overall client satisfaction within their territory. The role is accountable for motivating, mentoring, ability to demonstrate being a student of the business, communicating and navigation.
What will you be doing?
- Ability to drive ownership and accountability in to identify where strategies and initiatives belong through governance and collaboration.
- Review high-probability sales pipeline of delivering regions, assess workload of team, assign projects upon conversion.
- Project review Top 10 and Bottom 10 to ensure on time scheduling, financial tracking, on target operations, appropriate pm standards adherences.
- Align with Business Units and Regional Sales Team to ensure alignment in forecasting and strategic planning, engagement in projects around financials, P&L support, forecasting and strategic planning.
- Accountable for regional project portfolio and corporate KPIs (financials, rev rec, UTLZ, CSAT,etc)
- Oversight and owner of team's cost center/ budget
- Advise on an enforce the minimum activities list as defined the PMO.
- Lead, enforcement and discuss the PMO process/ procedures/ standards regionally. Share best practices with peers. Identify variations from or misalignments with governance and client procedures or overall satisfaction.
- Lead and develop Project Managers through coaching, mentoring to increase overall team skill sets and individual career development. Work with team members in their current and towards their next role.
Consult on and contribute to PMO initiatives as appropriate. Provide feedback to Governance based on client stakeholder requirements. - Collaborate with account management leaders to promote positive customer experiences, building trust in Diversified project management practices, and Diversified's ability to deliver projects at scale.
- Support team in developing realistic project delivery strategies, setting customer expectations, ensuring profitability, and achievable successes.
- Support internal and external escalations as requested. Work to identify project risks before escalations occur.
- Collaborate with Account Executives and Sales Support Group to review costs on pre-sales estimations and outgoing proposals.
Complexity:
- Highly collaborative
- Highly complex having oversight of multiple million-dollar projects at any given time. The position will lead a team of 15 on average.

What do we require from you?
- 8+ years of project management experience
- 5+ years of people leadership
- Experience managing a P&L
- Ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence
- Strategic thinker with the ability to take a broad view of the business, industry, and environment to anticipate and plan for future
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Strong communication and presentation abilities
- Proven experience in Change Management
- Proven experience in Revenue Operations and/or Delivery Excellence
- Proven track record of increasing efficiency and velocity in project delivery
- Lean and Six Sigma certifications are desired
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desired
