Job description

As part of the People@Nasdaq (HR) team, the Director of People Partnership (HRBP) is a newly created position which will be responsible for partnering with Nasdaq's growing Market Platforms and Financial Technology business and leading a team of People Partners (HRBPs) for the Americas.
The Director of People Partnership is a player/coach role leading a team of People Partners (HRBPs). The Director must be able to think strategically while also being hands-on in supervising the day-to-day execution of the agreed upon strategy. While the role will be focused on US-based clients, a global approach is essential to success.
In this role you will:

  • Act as an HR expert for respective client groups at the business unit level, i.e. has direct accountability to the BU head.
  • Develop and establish strategy and tactics to ensure successful completion of work that meets or exceeds client and/or organizational expectations.
  • Design and plan with a focus on team alignment around roll out and communication of company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., workforce planning, talent management, organizational change, process improvement, etc.).
  • Equip People Partners to partner with managers to prepare and complete People@Nasdaq annual programs (including but not limited to, performance management and calibration, compensation planning, etc.)
  • Attend key client group meetings to provide input into the strategic and operating plans and budgets; promotes understanding of impacts to talent.
  • Provide mentorship to People Partners and broader People@Nasdaq team to ensure that position, decision and/or direction taken by the team remains customer centric and business focused.
  • Identify, establish, and manage relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers internally and externally.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to clients, team members, colleagues, etc. on projects.
  • Participate in both internal and external projects that are broad in scope and closely tied to the organizational strategy.

The base pay range for this role is $120,300 - $200,400. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
