As part of the Chief Marketing Organization the Global Director of Paid Search will be part of the Performance Marketing team. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive Paid Search strategy to enhance the visibility and overall performance for Pfizer websites. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience who can work across internal and external teams to prioritize and align initiatives with broader business goals. You will lead our agency team of Paid Search professionals, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering successful Paid Search campaigns, a deep understanding of industry trends, and strong leadership skills.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overall Paid Search strategy to drive traffic, conversion, and revenue growth in alignment with business goals.
- Manage our agency team of Paid Search specialists, driving performance and Optimization.
- Develop and execute an In-House model and transition plan
- Oversee the management and optimization of large-scale Paid Search campaigns, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in budget allocation and bidding strategies.
- Conduct in-depth research, competitor analysis, and audience targeting to identify opportunities and constant optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, analytics, and product teams, to align Paid Search efforts with broader marketing initiatives.
- Provide regular performance reports and insights to stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and recommending optimizations for ongoing improvement.
- Stay informed about industry changes, emerging technologies, and best practices in Paid Search, and integrate these insights into the overall strategy.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices related to Paid Search advertising.
- Collaborate with external partners, such as agencies and technology vendors, to maximize campaign effectiveness
Qualifications
- BA/BS required
- 10+ years of agency or client-side Paid Search experience (Healthcare expertise preferred but not required)
- Proven experience as a Paid Search leader with a track record of driving growth.
- In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and Paid Search best practices.
- Experience leading agency teams within an agency or client-side
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team-based environment
- Strong communications skills, and ability to translate concepts for a wide variety of audiences
- Understanding of media measurement norms, evolving landscape, and industry standards
- Analytical skills and proficiency in Paid Search tools and analytics platforms.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $149,200.00 to $248,600.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
