Job Duties

Minimum Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of SAMHSA’s Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF) and the infrastructure required for implementation, prevention issues, services, systems and evaluation from interagency, federal, state and community perspectives.
• Ability to develop and implement a prevention system based on performance management principles and outcomes.
• Utilization of data driven decision making in program planning, evaluation and systems development.
• Ability to partner and work with other states and SAMHSA to discuss prevention system and workforce needs.
• Experience in staff management and supervision.
• Knowledge of federal and state policy development and other agency mandates and programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Skilled in the use computer technology systems, to include Microsoft Office.

Additional Considerations

• Extensive experience in planning and managing human service delivery systems based on performance management principles including administrative, programmatic, and personnel responsibilities for multiple, diverse programs, practices, and strategies.
