LACO Technologies is seeking an experienced, hands-on Director of Sales. This position is responsible for overseeing and executing our sales plan. The primary purpose of this role is to help LACO achieve short- and long-term strategic growth objectives and implement long-term sustainable sales processes. This position requires someone who is hands-on, gets into the details, can mentor and develop our team of inside and field sales representatives, and is willing to support sales efforts on all levels.

Essential Functions

  • Oversee sales and distribution channels
  • Develop and improve sales processes, tools, and strategies
  • Train and mentor the sales team in effective sales strategies
  • Engage, support, and grow our Independent Sales Representative Network
  • Help ensure ongoing retention, recruiting, and development Of Sales personnel to support growth objectives
  • Assist in product pricing strategies
  • Work closely with the marketing department in the generation Of Sales leads
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key industry influencers and key customers

Requirements and Competencies

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field
  • 10+ years experience in sales of industrial and or technical products
  • Experience managing and mentoring a sales team
  • Direct experience selling technical products
  • Experience developing and managing product sales channels in B2B markets
  • Customer relationship skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Experience successfully implementing sales processes
  • Technical acuity
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Job Details

  • Pay: $130,000 to $150,000 with bonus opportunities
  • Shift: Monday through Friday regular business hours with some flexibility in your start and stop times and the ability to participate in our 9/80 work schedule which gives you every other Friday off.
