Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Property Sales Director to join our team. The Property Sales Director will be responsible for identifying, cultivating, and securing sponsorship opportunities for our array of Sports Property clients. This role requires a strategic thinker, excellent presentation and negotiation skills, a proven track record in sponsorship sales, and a passion for sports.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and research potential brands suitable for sponsorship opportunities.
Develop and execute sales strategies - and presentations - to secure sponsorship deals that align with property client objectives.
Present sponsorship opportunities to, and negotiate terms and agreements with, prospective sports properties, on behalf of target brands.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the sports sponsorship landscape.
Track, monitor, and meet (or exceed) sales targets and revenue goals set by Strategic.
Qualifications
· Proven track record in sales, preferably within the sports sponsorship or advertising industry. 6-8 years of experience preferred.
· Mindset of proactivity. Ability to anticipate a client’s needs.
· Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects with attention to detail. Continued delivery above and beyond what is being asked.
· Ability to think strategically, while also displaying capability in managing tactical program components.
· Comfortable interacting with all kinds of people, including senior level partners and clients.
· Strong organization, time management and dependability, able to meet deadlines.
· Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
· Professional image and high level of integrity; strong desire to win.
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or related field.
· Strong understanding of sports marketing principles and property sponsorship sales best practices.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
· Travel required.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
