Food Service DirectorQualifications & Responsibilities:
- Performs inspections of work, storage, and serving areas to comply with regulatory guidelines
- Plans nutritionally balanced & therapeutic meals that reflect the likes and dislikes of residents, as well as Public Health regulations
- Responsible for food purchase, production, and timely service of meals
- Oversee and supervise all aspects of dietary personnel including: Hiring, orienting, trainings, counsels, disciplines, and when appropriate, terminates dietary employees
- Submits written reports to the administration
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Food Safety Management Certification
- Ability to work independently or part of a group and to prioritize and organize tasks
- Computer knowledge
- Problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous long term care experience
