Job Description:
Reporting to the Vice President/General Manager, the Director of Sales and Business Developmentwill be a key member on the division leadership team and will have a demonstrated track record of driving top line revenue growth. We seek an experienced business professional that can lead a high potential sales development team, develop, and execute growth strategies, provide product support, participate in product launches, and establish appropriate relationships with key stakeholders. The successful candidate will lead all sales development activities within the division, support Long-Range Plan and Annual Plan creation by setting growth targets for all product lines. This position will work closely with sales teams, manufacturing operations, engineering, and marketing, as well as externally with dealers, rep groups, and National Accounts to establish strategies that result in profitable revenue growth. We are seeking candidates with eight or more years of Business Development experience in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will have strategic planning experience, be analytical, and understand P&L financial statements. In addition, the candidate will have shown a history of building relationships with customers/internal stakeholders and developing strategies to drive growth.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Finance, or Engineering
- Experience developing sales strategies
- Project management experience
- P&L financial experience
- Ability to understand technical specifications of manufactured products
- Travel approximately 30-50% of the time
