The Director of Resort Marketing will be responsible for the development, execution, and management of the strategic marketing and brand management initiatives for our rapidly growing outdoor hospitality division. Managing sales and media tours, social media & content production, and the execution of programming and partnerships for our properties and portfolio.
This role will manage workflow and execution of hospitality marketing efforts by providing day to day direction to internal staff and external partners regarding strategic prioritization, implementation, creative direction, and market knowledge.

About this opportunity:
Location: St. Augustine, FL (remote possible for qualified candidates)
Position type: Full-time, exempt. This job requires a flexible schedule with varied work hours that may include weekends. Work hours can be in the morning, afternoon, or evening.
What we are looking for in a Director of Resort Marketing:
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience required, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Real Estate, Business or Hospitality.
- Knowledge of marketing strategies and the hospitality industry.
- 5+ years' experience with a branded entity, working to develop, enhance, and cultivate that brand in the public eye.
- Experience managing a team with integrity while facilitating growth potential.
- Previous work experience in utilization and successful navigation of social media, specifically with brand nurturing and marketing, media buying and Ecommerce.
- High proficiency in Google Suite; ability to learn the functionality of new software and systems.
- Great communicator with the ability to convey both analysis and findings to management and external clients.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional, entrepreneurial atmosphere to achieve measurable results and improve existing processes.
What you will do as a Director of Resort Marketing:
- Embody and lead marketing efforts through clear communication in a project oriented, strategic, and globally conscious mindset.
- Coordinate objectives with brand management, social media, and the creative atmosphere of the Dream Outdoor Resort brand while ensuring uniformity and consistency.
- Develop marketing budget and strategic plan incorporating advertising and public relations strategies to ensure full maximization of property-wide revenue potential and media visibility.
- Manage and enhance the division's brand, recognition, and reputation in the public's eye using social media, print media, digital media, marketing strategy, and successful advertising practices.
- Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience for all channels of content including online, social media, email, on property, mobile, video and print.
- Develop concepts for special events and activities to create memorable experiences for guests
- Analyze market research and strategies to engage and develop traditional as well as emerging markets while providing detailed reports and forecasting.
- Compile marketing data through data mining, trend recognition, and social media to generate detailed reports and strategies.
- Lead and oversee comprehensive public relations initiatives for the portfolio, cultivating strategic partnerships and managing external agencies.
- Negotiate Contracts with vendors and digital advertising entities.
- Drive effective communication campaigns that align with the brand's goals and values.
- Ensure brand communication for areas of responsibility are consistent with the company and brand positioning.
- Identify marketing and promotion opportunities then develop and execute marketing strategy and implementation.
- Maintain an EMail database and leverage customer insight data to refine market segments to attract additional and maintain existing customers.
- Assist in implementing new tools, reports, and technology to analyze and report data needs among all functional areas.
- Maintain and update Monthly Marketing action calendar.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
