Director Of Quality

How You Will Make an Impact
The Quality Director is responsible for leading and managing the development, implementation and maintenance of Quality systems and processes throughout the organization. This position ensures that the company meets quality standards set by standards, regulatory and customer requirements.
The Nuts and Bolts

• Responsible for the organization’s Quality function. Establish and communicate accountabilities, goals, metrics, and objectives
• Responsible for developing, managing, and administering the organization's quality management systems, policies, procedures, standards, metrics, and programs.
• Ensure that quality control inspections, tests and corrective procedures are coordinated throughout
• Provide leadership and direction through managers and staff in support of functional responsibilities
• Develop strategy and execute functional business plans
• Utilize statistical analysis to identify process improvement opportunities; Analyze and report on quality metrics, trends, and performance
• Responsible for all quality control functions, including devising or approving quality specifications to ensure manufacture and legal compliance
• Work closely with engineering as well as procurement from – Design Review, supplier quality to validation and all documentation
• Direct quality management for the organization’s 2 manufacturing sites – Reading, PA and Claremore, OK

Required Credentials

• Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Quality Management, Engineering
• 8+ years in manufacturing / production environment with at least 5 years in Quality Leadership role
• Experience with implementing and maintaining a Total Quality System – in a manufacturing environment
• Six Sigma Certification – required
• CQE preferred
