POSITION SUMMARY:
As the Project Manager for Site Development, you will spearhead the planning, execution, and oversight of the establishment of our new manufacturing campus in Mexico. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless transition and successful operation of our expanded facilities. Reporting directly to the Chief Supply Chain Officer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives within set timelines and budget constraints.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including site selection, infrastructure development, and facility construction, to support the successful launch of the new manufacturing campus.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, external partners, and regulatory agencies involved in the project. Build and maintain strong relationships to facilitate collaboration and address potential challenges proactively.
- Budget and Resource Management: Ensure effective allocation and utilization of resources, including finances, manpower, and equipment, to achieve project milestones and financial targets. Monitor expenditures and adjust plans as necessary to stay within budgetary constraints.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify potential risks and uncertainties associated with site development and manufacturing operations. Develop contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure business continuity.
- Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, codes, and standards governing site development, environmental impact, and workplace safety. Coordinate with legal and regulatory experts to obtain necessary permits and approvals for construction and operation.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate activities across multiple departments and locations, including New Product Introduction (NPI) and Quality Control (QC) teams based in Jonesboro and Mexico. Facilitate communication and collaboration to streamline processes and optimize operational efficiency.
- Confidentiality and Security: Maintain strict confidentiality regarding project details and sensitive information, as outlined in non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) signed by approximately 50 individuals involved in the project. Uphold the highest standards of data security and confidentiality to protect proprietary information.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience managing large-scale construction or site development projects, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coordinate cross-functional teams towards common goals.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Project Management tools and methodologies, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Fluency in Spanish is required, along with experience working in multicultural environments and familiarity with Mexican business practices.
- Prior experience with plant relocations or expansions, particularly in Mexico, is highly desirable.
