The Director of Operations serves as the local chief executive agent. This position supports our hospice teams in Las Vegas, NV and St. George,UT. The Hospice RNDirector of Operations will be based in Las Vegas and will travel between the branches frequently.
- The Director of Operations will lead the local provider(s) in a better way to care for the community in which it serves, and contribute to the overall success of the company.
- Ensure the execution of Operations are completed daily.
- Manage ongoing operations, services, personnel performance, and office management.
- Reports to the Reginal Vice President of Hospice Operation
- Must have an associate degree in a health related field and two years' as a manager or supervisor.
- Must not have been employed in the last year as an administrator with another operation at the time any enforcement action was taken against the business; further described in the company compliance policies.
- Must have intermediate demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.
Education and experience, preferred
- A licensed physician,RN registered nurse, licensed social worker, licensed therapist, or a licensed nursing home administrator is preferred.
- Previous experience in a home health care or hospice program; HOSPICE AGENCY PREFERRED
- Must possess a valid state driver license
- Must maintain automobile liability insurance as required by law
- Must maintain dependable transportation in good working condition
- Must be able to safely drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions
