POSITION OVERVIEW
The Director of Warehouse Operations is responsible for directing all Warehouse Operations including inventory, shipping & receiving, and mailroom operations. This position is also responsible for inventory management for the company, including warehousing and materials management. Further responsibilities include developing lean and innovative materials, management processes, and partnering with Purchasing and Accounts Payable on procure-to-pay implementation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
- Responsible for all Warehouse Operations
- Execute operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and maintaining inventory accuracy
- Ensure products and supply stocks are distributed and received in an efficient manner in an effort to eliminate shortages, down time, and delay in prep times
- Implement best practice warehouse management design to optimize space via racking design and other alternatives in order toto maximize labor productivity
- Manage all warehouse par levels
- Develop and manage quality improvement initiatives using KPI’s
- Partners with the F&B department, hotel department, and other relevant departments to ensure coordination of warehouse activities
- Control cost through productivity of personnel, efficient utilization of storage space, and proper protection of stored materials
- Lead projects and assess fulfillment results to improve warehouse practices
- Design a warehouse operating model for both internal and external warehouse management
- Maintain records of inventories and location for production control and cost accounting
- Documents materials and supplies shipped
- Manage all warehouse departmental expenses related to maintaining a safe and productive work environment
- Responsible for enforcing company policies of conduct and safety
- Identify the cause of product losses and takes correction action
- Determines work schedules and assigns areas of responsibility to warehouse personnel
- Promote team environment and work collaboratively to achieve team goals
- Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor’s Degree in business, supply chain, or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Four (4) or more years of experience in warehouse management roles, with an emphasis on F&B preferred
- Prior experience working in a luxury property preferred
- Working knowledge and experience of a Financial and Procurement system(s); Stratton Warren, Redrock, Infor, COUPA, BirchStreet, Oracle
- Strong practical experience and knowledge of supply chain operations within the Hospitality/Casino industry
- Possess strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Possess excellent written, verbal communication skills, and mathematical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to delegate responsibility and authority to maximize Team Member’s skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and drive change
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to organize effectively, delegate responsibility, solve problems quickly and communicate clearly
- Ability to provide leadership and direction contributing to the success of the organization through engaging, developing, and mentoring individuals and teams
- Must possess sound business judgment, a high degree of personal motivation, and a very strong work ethic
- Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Must be able to stay calm under pressure
- Demonstrated ability in maintaining consistent, high-quality service levels
- Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include nights and weekends
- Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job supervises a large group of personnel made up of managers, supervisors, warehouse attendants, runners, and mailroom clerks.

Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.

SALARY
$70000 per year - $90000 per year
