We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Merchandising to lead our merchandising strategies. As the Director of Merchandising, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our brand by curating and developing a compelling product assortment that resonates with the Ridge customer.

JobResponsibilities
Merchandising Strategy:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive merchandising strategy aligned with the company's financial & brand goals and objectives.
- Identify market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape to inform product assortment decisions.
- Drive product lifecycle management, including assortment planning, product development, pricing strategies, and inventory management.
- Lead seasonal milestone meetings to align departments on seasonal strategies with product roadmapping and lineplan handoffs.
Product Development:
- Collaborate with Product and Sourcing teams on development process from concept to commercialization.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure that product designs meet brand standards, quality requirements, and customer expectations.
- Conduct regular market research, consumer insights analysis, and product performance evaluations to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Assortment Planning:
- Curate a diverse and cohesive product assortment across multiple categories, including men's accessories and travel essentials.
- Define seasonal product lineups, assortments, and SKU plans based on consumer insights, sales data, and market dynamics.
- Optimize assortment mix and assortment breadth to maximize sales, margins, and customer satisfaction.
Vendor and Supplier Management:
- Evaluate vendor performance and capabilities, identify new sourcing opportunities, and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Partner with Production and Supply Chain team on meeting quality standards at needed cost.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, operations, and finance, to drive integrated merchandising initiatives and achieve business objectives.
- Provide leadership and guidance to ensure alignment and synergy across departments, fostering a culture of teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in merchandising, product management, or related roles within the retail or consumer goods industry.
- Demonstrated track record of success in developing and executing merchandising strategies that drive revenue growth, market share expansion, and brand differentiation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data, consumer insights, and financial metrics to inform decision-making.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation, creativity, and delivering best-in-class products that exceed customer expectations.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead teams through change and ambiguity.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 per year
