Additional Information:
-Reason this is open: Director was transferred into a Director Oncology position to better align service lines (she previously was overseeing Oncology + Med/Surg)
-Overseeing 2 standard Med/Surg units: Medical 3 is 27 beds, and Medical 4 is 30 beds
-Types of patients: these units are a catch-all for med/surg and will include everything except for surgical/ortho (We have a separate unit that is Med/Surg specifically for surgical and ortho patients)
-Director will oversee 1 Manager, several Clinical Nurse Coordinators (3-4 per unit), RNs, LPNs, Patient Care Techs, Lead Patient Care Techs, New Grad RNs, and Unit Secretaries (about 60-65 employees total)
*Extra info: Staffing is great, very high employee engagement scores, high patient experience scores. One of the units is actually closed at the moment due to construction, but once that is complete, it will reopen and normal team numbers will resume (so currently only director over one unit and half the direct reports)
