OVERVIEW
The Director of Marketing is responsible for setting, developing and implementing the long-term marketing vision for Next Level Apparel ensuring the brand maintains and builds on its position in the current market. This includes strategies to acquire, convert and retain new and existing customers, while working cross-functionally with our operations, logistics, customer experience, product development, sales channel teams as well as external partners.
HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Partner with leadership to understand the business including vision, short-term and long-term goals, operations, technology, sales, gaps and opportunities and the P&L.
- Develop marketing budget, strategic direction, manage and execute on priorities that support company revenue and profitability goals.
- Content Marketing: Oversee the design and implementation of wholesale and DTC consumer short- and long-term global brand marketing strategies.
- Performance Marketing: Develop and execute a marketing strategy focused on lead generation across mediums specific to BtoB centric business and the apparel industry.
- Leverage analytics, KPIs, consumer insights and other important performance metrics across internal and external channels to explain and validate the impact of organic and paid social, as well as other mediums incorporated in the marketing strategy.
- Monitor and report on KPIs and the effectiveness of Marketing initiatives, using data to develop and implement future strategies.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with distribution network, vendors, and printers. Ensure the content and strategy develops pull through demand for distribution partners.
- Leverage consumer and market insights to tap into new opportunities and deepen existing markets.
- Oversee customer engagement and loyalty initiatives to ensure end-to-end campaign continuity to drive lead generation and increase customer lifetime value.
- Collaborate with sales teams to manage channel planning with clear understanding of what will engage our consumer and drive channel performance on shelf and on-line.
- Oversee the development of materials for marketing, PR, sales, events, and other groups.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide recommendations for optimization based on results – analyze data to determine the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns/automation.
- Build a best in class marketing team with scalable business processes, and strong cross-company relationships.
- Follows company policies and practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook and/or applicable employment agreement. Follows safety guidelines and procedures in accordance with the job.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field. or equivalent relevant experience
- 7+ years experience in product marketing
- Proven success in launching and scaling mass-market consumer products, services, and acquisitions that drive the business and strengthen the brand
- Proven track record in bringing brands to market across organic and paid efforts and ability to measure and prove out ROI across all marketing activities, product launches and expansions
- Strong understanding of Next Level’s current focus as a BtoB centric business
- Strong knowledge and experience in performance marketing, either self-executing or leading an external agency
- Strong analytic skills and the ability to drive data-driven recommendations and decision-making
- Ability to confidently analyze, measure results and report performance to executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to influence others to get things done in a timely fashion; balance multiple priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and meet deadlines.
