Director Of Marketing & Public Relations

Position Status: Full-time or Part-time
Reports to: Avail Academy President

The Director of Marketing manages the work of the Avail Academy marketing department through website development, inbound marketing, creative writing, and graphic design.

Position Specific Qualifications

• Spiritually sensitive and understands the mission of Avail Academy.
• Ability to effectively share Avail’s story with all internal and external stakeholders.
• Exhibit skills in collaboration, creativity, organization, communication, and innovation.
• Works well with multiple deadlines and maintains a logical system for file storage and can locate requested documents within minutes.
• Reflects on broader consequences of actions to produce a meaningful impact.

Primary Responsibilities

• Articulate the philosophy of Christ-centered education and the vision and distinctiveness of Avail Academy.
• Manages all aspects of Avail’s print and electronic communications, ensuring the continuity of the school’s brand and logo.
• Plan for and deploy digital activities: website, online campaigns, email marketing, social media, and digital content production.
• Oversee inbound marketing by creating content to increase inquiries and website traffic.
• Oversee the work of graphic designers and print vendors in the production of printed materials and web visuals.
• Develop stories showcasing the many sides of Avail Academy (Academics, Athletics, and Student Life)
• Serve on the Linkage Committee.
• Connect alumni and former families to Avail Academy by sharing stories and events of interest that engage them with the school.
• Perform Public Relations within the local communities. Assist with promotional activities as assigned.
