Director Of Marketing And Communications

EVONA have partnered with a company committed to establishing a sustainable space presence while driving positive impacts on Earth, they are looking for a seasoned Director of Marketing and Communications to take responsibility for all marketing efforts, including analytics and social media.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with company executives to develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives and plans with clearly defined goals at both brand and product levels.

• Oversee project management and coordination of promotional activities, encompassing social media, direct marketing, events, sponsorships, and public relations.

• Supervise day-to-day marketing operations and the management of third-party vendors.

• Maintain responsibility for managing the marketing budget and tracking expenses.

• Formulate an online marketing strategy and generate content, including crafting copy.

• Aid in the creation and dissemination of concise and captivating customer-oriented content, spanning product details, website materials, newsletters, PR pitches, and social media interactions.

• Support sales efforts by compiling customer databases, crafting media and content, identifying marketing channels, and targeting potential trade show opportunities.

• Organize and execute outreach events and media appearances.

• Ensure consistency of branding across all marketing collateral.

• Strike a balance between digital and traditional marketing approaches.

Required Qualifications:

• Mastery in Unit and/or Automated Testing suites.

• Hands-on experience with Agile development methodologies.

• Knowledge of industry benchmarks like MISRA & DO178B.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline.

• At least 7 years of pertinent professional experience.

• Self-driven, goal-oriented, and skilled at adhering to crucial deadlines.

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

Highly Desirable Qualifications:

• Proficiency in media editing and production software like Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro.

• Hands-on experience with various types of Marketing content, such as podcasts, blogs, and videos.

• Ability to translate technical content into easily understandable language for diverse audiences.

• Previous experience in a comparable position within the aerospace industry and/or a technology startup setting, including familiarity with industry standards.
