We are seeking an experienced, resourceful, hands-on marketing professional who can drive Miaplaza’s advertising, brand-building, and SEO initiatives. The Director of Marketing manages and grows the marketing team and works closely with senior management and our product and content teams to build world-class K-12 education services and solutions. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of Facebook and Google advertising, is comfortable working with data analytics and marketing metrics, and brings an appreciation for the unique requirements of online education marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
Online Marketing & Paid Advertising
- Develop and manage paid advertising campaigns across various platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads, Google Ads, YouTube Ads) to reach parents, educators, and students effectively and efficiently.
- Analyze campaign performance data and optimize campaigns and budgets based on key metrics (e.g., cost-per-acquisition, conversion rate, return on investment).
- Stay up-to-date on best practices for online advertising platforms and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Experiment with new ad formats and targeting options to maximize reach and engagement.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive SEO strategy.
- Identify and leverage partnerships with relevant online communities and influencers.
User Acquisition
- Lead and manage user acquisition campaigns across various channels (e.g., paid advertising, organic search, content marketing, partnerships).
- Analyze marketing data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize campaigns.
- Collaborate with the product development team to ensure effective messaging and positioning of new offerings.
Brand Management & Communications
- Build and strengthen the Miaplaza brand identity and reputation.
- Develop and manage comprehensive communication strategies across all channels (e.g., website, social media, email, public relations).
- Oversee the creation of high-quality marketing materials, including website content, blog posts, social media posts, email campaigns, and press releases.
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with Miaplaza's vision and growth objectives.
- Manage our current marketing team and grow the department.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats, and inform strategic decisions.
- Stay informed about emerging trends in online education and marketing technology to ensure Miaplaza stays competitive and innovative.
- Employ first-principles thinking to gain a deep understanding of core objectives and customer needs, while critically assessing and challenging both existing approaches and conventional marketing wisdom.
Requirements:
- Full-time availability
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in online marketing, paid online advertising and SEO.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Experience with managing other marketing professionals.
- Understanding of the EdTech space and its trends is a plus.
- Passion for education and a commitment to improving learning outcomes.
