ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with VP of Marketing to develop annual engagement brief and Strategic Marketing Plan that supports business objectives and informs channel plans and budgeting.
- Develops annual marketing calendar and implements marketing programs & channel strategies to grow awareness and consideration with target audience.
- Conceptualize, brief, and implement integrated marketing plans and campaigns to ensure consistency with HearUSA’s brand. Develop & execute new concepts, channels & partners to position the business as an innovator & leader; Ensure the clients' perspective is a driving force behind business decisions & activities; Crafting & implementing strategies that meet clients' and organization's needs as measured by Channel dashboards and Media Mix effectiveness/ROI
- Develop internal marketing campaign presentations to be aligned (Campaign Readiness documents) and reviewed (Campaign Preview) with SLT and other relevant partners (Client Care, Field Leadership)
- Direct and drive identified (nurture) and existing (retained) client journey across a full life cycle with multiple points of communication inclusive of Email, Direct Mail, SMS, Client Care and Center Outbound calling.
- Manage the overall Marketing budget, as well as meet financial objectives.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure journey from lead generation to conversion is seamless, including Category Management, Field Leadership, Operations, Training, Finance, and Project Management on the implementation & execution of Marketing activities. Collaborate with outside agencies, global marketing, and internal resources on implementation & execution of initiatives.
- Keep abreast of market developments and monitor the competitive landscape.
- Lead, coach, manage, and empower a team to drive implementation and achieve goals while being cognizant of the internal WSA culture.
- -Prior Marketing Leadership in a Retail or CPG (consumer packaged goods) company, with Healthcare Consumer marketing preferred, but not required. (Specific interest in Optical, Dental, or Hearing categories).
- Business-oriented marketer able to spot opportunities, trends, and innovation and translate them into marketing strategies and plans.
- Comfortable operating in a highly-matrixed environment (multiple business units, segments, budget resources, etc.) fostering a deep understanding of the market, client trends, and competitive activities.
- Data driven mindset, incorporating KPIs to measure use and effectiveness of Marketing channels in national and local activities.
- Visionary, establishing a clear view of how long-term market trends impact our business & market potential.
- Experienced with Full Funnel media engagement, with specific expertise in CRM data activation
- Strong leadership planning and problem-solving skills, excellent analytical skills; demonstrated success of leading a high-performing team--can inspire and motivate members to drive for high performance.
- Distinct credentials to drive results by taking a proactive medium- and long-term view of goals and objectives.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to work with people across all levels of seniority in the organization.
- A creative & innovative individual to drive & bring new ideas to the organization.
- Ability to work with and manager external vendors to deliver results within designated timelines.
- Ability to plan activities and programs, such as meeting and orientations.
- Ability to develop and give oral presentations to both large and small groups.
- Ability to communicate detailed or technical information clearly, accurately, and concisely.
- 7+ years of prior Marketing Leadership in a Retail or Consumer Packaged Goods company. (Healthcare consumer marketing preferred)
- Bachelors' Degree. MBA or advanced degree preferred but not required.
